OS 1.51 states that Libraries will be erased by the new update. If we have made a "Backup" file using OS1.5 will loading that file re-load the user libraries contained in it or must we re-load each library separately? BTW I am still suffering from performance changes resulting from upgrading to OS 1.5 and reinstalling user data. It appears you need to reload libraries in the same order they were on the Montage prior to the OS updating to avoid changes in performances.
Saving an X7A file with v1.50 should save everything - libraries, user area, etc. This is all you should need to completely restore Montage. You will probably find that updating from v1.50 to v1.51 will not end up deleting any libraries or user content - although I would not depend on this, as you are doing, and ensure there are proper backups.
Personally, I would also save as a backup everything (X7U file, maybe X7L files). X7L files should not need to be saved since you should have these files already on a USB stick or your computer. Anything you have scattered on USB sticks should be saved on a computer.

Upgrade does not erase performance, the live mode, and semples.Meni the installation is without deleting
