I have purchased the John Melas Motif Waveform Editor tool but I have found that it doesn’t apply element pans, volumes, etc., and there always seems to be garbage elements in slots other than 0.
While it is nice that it handles waveform pans, volumes, keys, etc. (if it comes down to it, it will be a huge help to have that done by the tool rather than manually by me on the machine), I also need it to handle more “Voice” properties.

Is there an up-to-date tool for Yamaha MONTAGE and one that handles all available properties? I will also need to modify release times, release volumes, attack times, etc.

Hi, the waveform editor is for editing and managing user waveform and user arpeggio in Motif XS/XF file format (compatible with Montage).

To edit Montage performances and parts, you have the Montage tools :

The Montage Performance Editor only crashes when executed and the Montage Total Librarian doesn’t have wave editing or even SoundFont importing.
I can’t do anything with this.
Is there anything else? Why hasn’t Yamaha released an official tool?

Also have to say there has been no crashes or glitches with the Performance Editor on my computer. If it's crashing I would guess there's something not right in your computer setup. (Running Windows 7, with 8 gigs RAM and a Quad Core Pentium I5 @ 3400mhz., nothing special a basic setup).

My computer is less than a week old.
Windows 10 Pro and Windows 7 Pro
32 gigabytes
Core i7-7700K at 4.5 GHz

In addition to being new, there is definitely nothing wrong with it given that it works in Windows 10 Pro (same machine dual boots).
But it crashes after a while in Windows 10, and I don’t want to have to boot into Windows 10 Pro every time I need to use it, especially considering I need fast iteration at the start between it and a custom tool I am making.

It can somewhat work as a back-up plan but I definitely would prefer options that run on Windows 7 Pro and load SoundFont files.

Shawn,
Hopefully, you are beginning to see that most people don't have the same issues you are experiencing... it just might be your setup and not anything else.

The System Requirements for MONTAGE CONNECT are listed as follows (just FYI):
OS
Windows 7 SP1 / Windows 8.1 Update / Windows 10
64-bit only
Operation is not guaranteed in Windows XP mode on Windows 7 or in the Boot Camp partition on Mac OS X.

DAW Application
Cubase 8 series / Cubase 9 series

Others
These system requirements conform to those of the DAW applications and OS.

I’ve spent hours setting up so that I can get as far as I can on Windows 7 Pro SP1 and then transfer all the files to Windows 10 Pro to finally put together all the waveforms and voices.

And then I find that there is no waveform editor for the MONTAGE.
Is one of these ( http://www.jmelas.gr/montage/index.php) tools able to do that?
With the MOTIF tools the most useful part was that it could load all of my samples with (most) parameters already correct.

For whatever reason the MONTAGE tools can’t import the native MOTIF X3A files even though they are compatible with the MONTAGE. If at least that worked then I could make the waveforms with the John Melas Motif Waveform Editor (the very first mention in this topic and the entire point of what I am doing) and then just the resulting X3A file with the MONTAGE tools and adjust the missing points (the points about which I complained in the first post).

Is there no tool there that does this? Did I miss something in the John Melas tools?
Can the MONTAGE tools not even import the wavetable?
Back to the very first question: How can I edit the waveforms for MONTAGE on PC?
