The performance "Early 80s DiscoPop" is the first one that is mostly some form of a piano instrument with a drum arp in the background. Press the "ARP ON/OFF" button to make it illuminate in order to "turn on" the drums.

If you'd prefer a different split, different piano, etc. you can modify this performance or find another one to start with.

Or start with a drum kit and add a piano. The drum kits are setup so if you press [ARP ON/OFF] to ON - you have to hold down a key to make the pattern play. You can change this to a held ARP instead by editing the common Arpeggio settings for the drum part to Hold ON (instead of off). Now press any key and the selected ARP keeps playing. You have up to 8 ARPs to choose from.

The "Beechwood Snare" kit is what I'm using right now to go through the options.

To it, I just add "CFX PopStudioGrand" because I know this is a single-part instrument (it's easy to add). After adding that PART, I go in and turn off PART arpeggio since before doing so, it's playing some pattern. I don't want that. There's a green box I touch to turn it off. That's it. Instant drums+piano. Even easier - from the [PERFORMANCE] (HOME) screen there's a blue box for Arp On/Off. If blue, touch it to turn it off for the Piano.
