looks like I have overwritten it accidentally because it looks identical to the midi setup. what can I do to get it back? I can´t record any arps anymore in Cubase! total disaster HELP! I´m desperate!!!!
Make the following settings, then store them to The Quick Setup #2
FACTORY DEFAULTS FOR QUICK SETUP #2: ARP RECORD ON DAW
Press [UTILITY] > “Settings” > “MIDI I/O”
- MIDI I/O = USB (green)
- LOCAL CONTROL = Off
- ARP MIDI OUT = On
- MIDI SYNC = MIDI
- CLOCK OUT = On
- REC/TRANS SEQ CONTROL = On/On
- CONTROLLER RESET = Reset
- GLOBAL ASSIGN (FootSwitch/SuperKnob CC/SCENE CC) = Arp Sw, 95, 92
Go to Quick Setup
Tap the box that says “Store Current Settings”
Change the “Setup No.” to #2
Name it “Arp Rec On DAW”
I imagine the backup ("ALL" ) X7A file would save these settings too - is this true? If so, then perhaps also consider making more frequent backups and restore from backup when you run into trouble. I know it's slow - but something to consider if these settings are part of the backup file.

thank you that works now!
