I've been recently trying to take advantage of the Montage M's near 4GB of Sample Memory. But I notice that no matter what I do, whether it's creating a 3GB Montage X7U file OR hand importing my samples, I cannot go past 2GB of Sample Memory on the Montage M.
I was trying to hold out for either Derek Cook or John Melas to make native Montage M Editors (in particular a Montage M Waveform Editor) to hopefully be able to create 2GB+ files, but I am trying to get my own personal bank setup for live use now.
Any suggestions as to why 2GB is the cap? I'm fearing the answer might be 2GB for the User Bank, and 2GB for Library Files. I'm guessing strongly that is what it is.
