There is EasySounds.

Anyone else offering third party sounds (Performances) for MONTAGE?

Thanks.

Don't have Montage yet (on order).

But if as Chris implies it is straightforward to load the 'Inspiration in a Flash' for the XF, then all off the libraries available at Motifator should be usable as well.

Yes XF/XS libraries will load but remember it's only what was voices and associated waveforms that will come over as Mobtage part performances. Legacy performances in these libraries do not.

Given the breadth of new sounds in the Montage items like Inspiration may not be worth a full load. Recommend the articles on here or the Music Produxtion guide re user / library performance management to whittle down what you need.

There was a recent discussion thread with a link to a dx7 site with 5000+ patches which can be downloaded and then run the FM converter which is on this site.

Best of luck exploring and expanding the Montage sound canvas.

Sharing will come in time. Right now your time is best spent learning to program it yourself. Sharing at this early point in the synth history will just be sharing tweaks of the factory set (which does have some value). Everyone should be editing and learning from the presets that at this point. When you've found something new and interesting to share, I'm sure this will begin to happen. But this is a synthesizer- begin to explore it yourself.

Hello new to this forum here very content with the montage 7 fits me cause I'm used to performance keyboards,
It is the second Yamaha I've owned so I'm used to this brand :). So I wonder if AMW2 is a better engine
then its previous generation. And if so would that make Montage stand out more then the current XF, XS libraries
can offer. I know it wouldn't have to make much of a difference but its interesting to know.

Montage will be delivered tomorrow.

There are a few XF Performances I might be interested in porting, but for the most part the XF is available via MIDI and would only port something for when the Montage is stand alone.

I'm not too concerned about older libraries; when the Montage arrives I plan to play that without any other MIDI or computer devices or plugins (Omnisphere) for at least a few weeks.

What I prefer to do is just explore and learn the Montage and in an ideal world I won't want the XF legacy stuff when I'm done. 😉
