[quotePost id=118756]In defense of the Montage I just got done jamming on it - no DAW. Pretty fun either way 😀 [/quotePost]

Exactly.

It's painfully, tantalisingly close to being a great live instrument.

Thanks (I think) to this, I've just discovered it. FAR OUT!!! WTF!!!???

For anyone wondering whether this is an appropriate subject or at all pertinent to the MODX/Montage... it's worth considering just how massive this synth is within the context of what a Saw Wave is - a linear line, meaning VASTLY more computationally lightweight than making Sine waves.

There's more than enough computational power in the original MODX to make saw waves and all manner of shapes with them, such that PWM becomes a thing, with massive polyphony and Unison Voice Spreading, as there's no lighter (mathematically and computationally) wave form than a saw.
