Hi Fellas,
Just purchased a USB Kingston 8GB flash stick. It was on the Recommended List . I downloaded the zip file--unzipped it--extracted the file and put it on the stick.
I inserted the stick into the back of the Montage. I held the ^ (increase) + Utility and turned on the Montage. I got the ..red ng message. Should I have downloaded anything else besides the OS download?
Thanks Frank

Hy again,-----Forgot to mention that I formatted the USB stick on the montage first.

Sorry, I missed your post.

Are you still having this issue or did it resolve itself? There is nothing else you need - a NG message (no good) means it could not find the file. It must be in the root directory. Let us know.

Hi Bad Mister,
Thanks for your concern. I found the error of my ways yesterday---and IT WORKED!
Thanks

For the forum's benefit there is the obligatory question: "so what turned out to be the issue, and how did you fix it?"
