Hello - not knowing what effect an external monitor might have on the updating process (with attendant powered USB hub) I tried it out. Having taken a full back-up first, as recommended! Removed the usual back-up USB key so that the updater key was the only one on the system, and followed the normal routine. Montage ignored the external monitor altogether, and did everything on the built-in screen exactly as usual. No hitches. After the update, the external monitor works exactly as it did before. I had wondered if there had been any enhancement of the use of external monitors, but there hasn't been.
Similarly, updating 'Connect' to v1.03 as required by v2.00 went smoothly and quickly. However, the Steinberg driver appears to be the same as I already have at v1.9.9, so I've done nothing about that. I don't have any kind of DAW though, so that may not matter anyway.
So now I can load Motif XS, XF, and MOXf Performances, which I would like to do - but where can I download them from, please?

I was scanning Facebook and there's a European site that has all the Motif stuff. If I find the URL I will post it. (I didn't copy it down when I saw it, now I'm kicking myself, but I'll find it again)....Hope this helps some what.

You can actually download all 512 Motif XF performances pre-converted for the Montage from here:

@john: My understanding is that the link you mention points to a live set which collects the voices of the Motif XF - which are already in the Montage. I might be misunderstanding something, though.

Hello John and Stefan - thank you! I have downloaded and installed the 512 Pfs from Motif XF, and they all work fine - but sound a bit thin after getting used to the results produced by Montage! I'll enjoy 'Montagalising' them - or some of them at least. I had a Motif XS and remember some of the names - and how dire some of them were! Bit of sorting out to do - but I'd still like to know where to get the MOXF Pfs from - they were a different set altogether. but I never got on with it for some reason, so it would be interesting to try them with the much more approachable Montage ...
