To Whom Its May Concern!

Since the Montage is the most newest ,advantage and expensive instrument made from Yamaha...I really asked my wife to allow me the large amount of money to buy one for my dream,,,,and it is on his way to my home...One thing that i was disappointed is that Montage doesn't has the capability to make a Multi Samples from Wave file as Korg Kronos does so that I can made some sounds for my own use purpose,
As I am a Vietnamese, I used to play a traditional instruments a lot...Most of the Vietnamese songs are playing with these traditional instruments, But Yamaha had never made the factory sounds like that, especially the Montage...

I would like to request Yamaha Corp to take a closer look into this matter, Because we have a large Vietnamese 's community around the world and they used most Yamaha instruments...Especially in the US.

If the Yamaha Factory said that because the Montage is the Synth Keyboard not a Workstation that's why it does not have the capability to built the samples from the Wave files, so why Yamaha don't make it and install into it as a factory preset sounds???
I hope this will be comes true in the next OS updates

Link below is some of Vietnamese traditional instruments for you to listen ! it is called : Đàn Tranh, Sáo Trúc, Đàn Bầu, Đàn Kìm, Đàn Cò....ect.....

Thanks Chris for the advise, If Montage can have a Multi Samples option to create a custom sounds is a fantastic ...

Yamaha can do that for the lower model as PSR S950, PSR S770, PSR S970 why not Montage?

When you mentioned " 2) Download and install Inspiration in a flash library" What is it ? When can I download these?

Thanks

Here is what I need for the Montage

Import your own recorded sample data (.wav, .aif, .aiff) or SoundFont (.sf2).
Build your own voices by adjusting various detailed parameters of the sound.
Create your unique Voice

Hello Chris

What is that program I took a screenshot of? That is the Yep Manager Software from Yamaha for PSR S ....Series, And I just post it as my wish to have something similar for the Montage.

The main concern to me it the realistic instruments, our Vietnamese traditional instruments sounds very closer to some of china instruments but there are a lot of layer and there are some of techniques and skill to play it....if we use the similar instrument to twist it then it does not sound right....I did for Roland XP-30, Roland Juno Di but i don't like it

Especially the instrument called Dan Tranh it sounds like the Guzheng , it has some

Hello Chris,
I can import the wave file to Montage without any problems but its does not sound as good as the original sample... I think Montage need a software to have a capability to custom your own sample instead of the method above...there are some of highest keys and lowest key is only sound on the same note.. it looks like the sample does not Map correct on Montage keys

Thank you for asking Chris !
Hope you have a great Sunday!
Tho
