Hi need help with my yamaha montage hi making a track and hi goin true number eight chanel and my recording is 4 minutes but is say one my creen memorry dim full and hi dont have no songs recorded and no sample made

If you use a DAW to record - your space would be limited only by disk space - which could be nearly infinite compared to 4 minutes of 8 tracks at very high sampling rates and wide bit depths.
This doesn't really help you debug what's going on with your current setup - only to say there may be a different way which would yield better results.
Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R
