My apologies if I've posted this in the wrong category -- feel free to move it as necessary.
I own the original Motif Rack. I don't think it's an ES, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Years ago, I used to have the Multi Editor, but I can't seem to find the right download location. It's probably under my nose, but all I could find was MOTIF RACK_Multi Part Editor V216.
I downloaded this to my old 2007 MacBook Pro running El Capitan 10.11.6, and placed the .DMG file on my desktop, but after a couple of steps, it error out saying that there was no software to install (see attached).
I do have Studio Manager 2 installed, and it appears to be working correctly.
The Error messages says it couldn’t find the Editor to install. Try downloading it again.

That’s a small but very important point. There were three different Motif-Racks. Each is very different. The product identifies itself right on the front panel. We can’t correct you, you have the unit.
Motif-Rack
Motif-Rack ES
Motif-Rack XS
Thank you for the assistance Bad Mister. I actually already tried deleting the download from my Macbook, then re-downloading it, but without success.
When I open the ZIP file on the Mac, I do a copy and paste to put it on the desktop, then control-click the package to start the installation (otherwise the Macbook complains that it's from an external source).
If my method is okay, is there another download location where I can find this old package? If not, that's okay. I just use the Motif Rack when my Rack XS is at church, but it would be helpful to be able to practice using the Multis so I can practice with drums at the right tempo.
Cheers,
Tony G.
O.K. I have my answer. Apparently, the Multi Editor for Motif Rack only supports up to MacOS 10.4 (Tiger).
Thanks to Motifator for jumping in. Here is the forum post.
