Hello.
I'm having a little trouble getting the iPad Multi Editor app working on my iPad.
Under Settings, I can see that my Yamaha MD-BT01 is connected (IN/OUT on the back of the Motif Rack XS).
MIDI Type is "Cable/Bluetooth". Model Select is "MOTIF-RACK XS". Device Number is 1.
Normally, I have my MIDI In/Out set to USB, but also tried MIDI without success.
My expectation is that if everything is connected properly, I should be able to click RECEIVE and see that the app is talking to my Multi.
However, so far I have only seen "Timeout error.".
Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. This would be a great way to let my FOH sound man have some ability to adjust the part levels on my various multis.

I think it needs to be set to MIDI and channels need to match. Try the voice editor first as it is simpler. How will you send note messages? You cannot use both USB and MIDI simultaneously. Best, Mike
