I have been reading Bad Mister's technical responses to the Yamaha Motif synthesizers for quite some time. I am very appreciative of his extraodinary support of this excellent music production synthesizer. This is a gross understatement. I don't have time to expand right now. I surely will later. Thank you, Yamaha, for providing such a quality interface of your Motif line to the world. And to be clear, by interface I mean - Phil Clendeninn.
Phil has been an invaluable part of my bonding to my Yamaha Motif XF7.
Let me join this chorus!
I've been climbing the ferocious learning curve of the XF for 3 1/2 years now, and I'm finally achieving what seems to me like a decent level of competence (meaning that lots of times when I go to do something, I actually get it done instead of running into the latest thing that I don't understand).
I never could have gotten this far without the help I've received from Bad_Mister. I hope that Yamaha realizes how valuable he is to those of us who have taken up the challenge of learning to use the XF.
Much appreciation to Phil for all his help and hard work!
His vast expertise and detailed explanations are second to none!
Thank you Phil for all of you support and mentoring. Your patience, expertise, and attention to detail have made my learning experiences so much more productive. I really appreciate the work you've done here on the forum and at Motifator I cannot imagine Yamaha without Bad Mister. Well done sir!
I come across this thread by chance and glad I did, the technical support by Phil is the best I've come across in years. You always know where you stand with him and it's good he has strong opinions even if it goes against yours - I like that instead of standard corporate paragraphs. I just hope I don't annoy him too much when raising discussions on the forum or relaying other questions I've been asked. I don't always voice my views but I will do it for others even if I don't fully agree either (just to record what people think - devils advocate approach). Phil is a saint even though he cannot tell if I'm having a bit of fun lol.
Top bloke 100%
yeah, I'm in.
thank you Phil.
I experience bliss when I play my XF8.
you have helped me so much, man.
peace and joy,
Charlie
Join thanks! Research Motif XF for me was easy, thanks to the detailed and understandable articles Bad mister! I still always keep them on hand as a guide.
Many thanks for a really great and useful work!
ditto for sure!
Not being a 'forum' type of person, I've spent most time just reading and bookmarking your writing work for reading later.
I thank you very much Mr. Bad!
*just finished, for today, reading a current thread about Total Librarian by, Brian....
some of the exact same things 'were' going on with us here, UNTIL NOW! haha
May Much Peace and Health be Yours!
Thanks Phil. 🙂
I've just finished reading another post on this forum where Bad Mister shares his amazing competence and knowledge in a plain and accessible way even for a newbie like me.
So let me join the chorus here. I have been digging into BadMister's articles, videos on Youtube, this forum etc for more than a year now and I must say that without him I would have never been able to even start doing something meaningful with my XF7!
Thanks a lot Mr Clandeninn 🙂
Phil's video's for keyfax have been phenomenal.. I bought the entire set.... keep watching repeatedly.. get a lot of easter eggs.. Basicallly his video clips on Youtube triggered me to buy an XF6 🙂
Thanks Mr. Phil.
Indeed.
To put it simply, there aren't words enough to even give a near adequate description for what it has meant (to me) to have had his wealth of knowledge forwarded to my (and our) direction. I marvel at the intellectual embodiment of his tutorials, his responses to posted queries, and everything else. And he doesn't seem to mind (as evidenced by some of his lengthy replies) expending time for the sake of bringing clarity through someone's confusion.
Much appreciation to Bad_Mister.
