Hi Bad Mister
Is VST editor sufficient for mixing? I have panning , volume of each instrument and all these in vst editor ,I also have these options in cubase mix console. Shall I use one or the other ? Or both ? If I did volume and panning in vst editor then if I do it in mix console that will change what I've done in vst editor right?

Sorry, it is impossible to answer your question because we do not know what you are doing. Sorry. Only you do!

The VST EDITOR is sufficient for mixing the Motif XF PARTS. It does not handle any other Tracks that you have in Cubase. We do not know what Tracks you have in Cubase. Since it can record literally any number of MIDI and Audio Tracks - obviously the Motif XF VST Editor is only for the Motif XF VST.

We also don't know what has been rendered as audio and what is still MIDI in your Cubase Project. we highly recommend that YOU experiment and find out for yourself, what you should do. Or try to describe (more fully) what you are dealing with. I know you must think we know what you are doing, but really we only know what you tell us.
🙂

We should add, you can control the Cubase Mixer with the Control Sliders on the Motif XF front panel. It works in banks of 8 channels... no matter how many MIDI and audio tracks you create - as a part of the XF's DAW REMOTE function.
