Only had the MOXF home for 2 days. I had barely learned my way around a second-hand S08. How do I access the User bank on the MOXF8?

Hi Jennifer,
Welcome to YamahaSynth!

There are USER VOICE Banks, there are USER PERFORMANCE Banks... what is it you really want to do?
Press [VOICE] to enter the VOICE mode. Use the BANK SELECT button (right front panel to switch between Banks... there are 9 PRESET Banks followed by 3 USER Banks, and then the Drum Banks, and GM Bank.

The Owner's Manual is excellent for the 'Only had it for 2 days type questions'. Start the QUICK GUIDE on page 23 of your Owner's Manual... it will explain the MODES, and how to access them - in a logical step-by-step manner. Trust the Manual.

Thanks! Got that figured out.

Next I'm trying how to figure out how to split the keyboard into 3 parts, change voices, alter those specific voices (individual octaves, effects, etc. Sorry, i don't know all the correct terminology) and then save. It seems that if I just use the Split function, I can only split it into two. I'd like more splits than that. I think I need to use the Master setting, but again, am having a hard time finding easy to follow instructions anywhere.
