Hello, can I split the keyboard where on the left hand I can play a voice and on the right hand I can play the same voice but in the same octave range (or same pitch) as the left hand? For example E3 on the left hand and E3 on the right hand? So far what ever voices I split over the keyboard the pitch continues increasing as I cross over the split point. Thanks
Yes, you can. We will use the Initialized Performance to build this sound (rather than using the quick edit "Performance Creator" ).. This will allow you to more flexibility in programming. You will need to Tune each side of the Note region, as you require..
Press [PERFORM]
to enter Performance Mode
Press [JOB]
Press [F1] INIT
With the ALL option marked, press [ENTER] twice to execute.
Press [EDIT]
Press [1] to view the PART EDIT parmeters
This creates a new Initialized Performance with the PRE1 001 _"Full Concert Grand" in PART 1
Change this to the VOICE you want to use
Select PART [2]
Set the "PartSw" = ON
Place the same VOICE in PART 2.
Create the NOTE LIMIT region as follows: (this will be creating the Split...)
Press [F1] VOICE
Press [SF1] LIMIT
Set the Note Limit Hi and Note Limit Lo so that each Part covers the region of keys you wish - for example:
Set Part 1 so "NoteLimitLo" = C-2 and "NoteLimitHi" = D#3
Set Part 2 so "NoteLimitLo" = E3 and "NoteLimitHi" = G8
Now you need to tune PART 1 up two octaves:
Press [1] to select PART 1
Press [F4] TONE
Press [SF1] TUNE
Set PART 1 so that "NoteShift" = +24 (semitones)
E1 will sound as the E above middle "C"
and E3 will sound as the E above middle "C"
Press [STORE]
Great! Thank you Bad Mister. I don't see those instructions in the Owner's Manual. What resource may I find these instructions? Again, I'm in total awe of what the MOXF can do. Dave

Thank you Bad Mister. I've printed a copy of the Reference Manual and will study it. I find it easier digest and reference this kind of material "in my hands" rather than siting at a computer screen. Love the MOXF! Dave
Hello Bad Mister, I've run into a snag. I've reviewed the Reference Manual and can't find an answer to the following ...
In your instructions you state:
"This creates a new Initialized Performance with the PRE1 001 _"Full Concert Grand" in PART 1
Change this to the VOICE you want to use"
I can't seem to change the VOICE once I get to this step. How do you change the VOICE? I press VOICE button and I end up out of the whole sequence of steps and have to start over and end up in the same situation. I appreciate your patience with this.
Press [PERFORM]
to enter Performance Mode
Press [JOB]
Press [F1] INIT
With the ALL option marked, press [ENTER] twice to execute.
Press [EDIT]
Press [1] to view the PART EDIT parameters
____
By pressing the Part Select [1] button while in EDIT, you will see that slot 1 shows
[F1] VOICE
[SF1] VOICE
Part Switch 1 is On
And the Full Concert Grand is assigned;
Bank = Pre1
Number = 001
You can move the cursor to highlight the Bank, then use the Data Dial or INC/DEC buttons to make changes, or while highlighting a Voice selection parameter you can push the [CATEGORY SEARCH] button ...
Rinse and repeat for Part slots 2, 3, and 4
Got it! Thank you.
