Hi,
is there a way to edit .6XS on a computer?
John Melas does not provide reading or writing ability for this extension and MOXF editor does not cover management of SONGS and PATTERNS.
I'm trying to find a way to consolidate a couple of .6XS files containing SONGS which are way above the available SEQ memory in the MOXF . Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
From a .X6S file (that's what I'm sure you are referring to) you can load a single Song title. Loading a single Song takes about 2-3 seconds
Press [FILE]
Press [F3] LOAD
Set the TYPE = Song (instead of All Song)
Highlight the File name and enter the File, you will see a list of the Song titles
You can direct it to whichever internal song location you require..
Select one and press [SF1] Exec to load
By loading single Songs into memory you can regroup the files.
You can also load directly replacing a song title in memory in case you are nearing capacity.
