Do strange things happen in my house? or is it the MOXF ??

PATTERN MODE SELECTED, GENERAL ARP BUTTON OFF
TRACK 7 DRUM a voice configured to arp when the general arp button is turned ON (voice setting of arp edit in SWITCH ON, HOLD ON)
TRACK 6 DRUM with a voice configured to NOT arp when general arp button is turned ON (voice setting of arp edit in SWITCH OFF, HOLD OFF)

START RECORD
THEN PRESS RECORD AGAIN so the led blink and don´t record.

SELECT TRACK7: Press a key....DON¨T ARP.....GENERAL ARP ON button is OFF_______OK
SELECT TRACK6: Press a key....DON¨T ARP.....GENERAL ARP ON button is OFF_______OK

TURN GENERAL ARP button ON
SELECT TRACK7: Press a key....IT ARP!!!___GENERAL ARP ON button is ON___________OK

I change voice while arp of track 7 still plays
SELECT TRACK6: Press a key....DON¨T ARP (just sound the key). GENERAL ARP ON button is ON but switch button on voice is OFF______OK

Then I play the record button (STILL ON TRACK6)
When the loop ends and without pressing a key __________GHOST ARP OF TRACK6 IS RECORDED

WHAT THE HELL!!!!
And it is the arp of the arp menu selected (ARP1-6)
As if the voice of track 6 was adjusted with switch on and hold on!!!!

WHY??? I haven´t hear the arp playing.....why has it been recorded??

GHOSTS AT HOME???
Please......MOXF users....try it a t home.
Do I need an exorcist ??

Wish I could follow that... sorry.
You don’t need an exorcist, you need to re-read what you wrote... 🙂

I WIL TRY AGAIN 🙁

1. I HAVE:
a)PATTERN MODE with ARP3 selected and ARP ON button is in OFF position
b)track7 with a drum voice. ARP settings of this voice are SWITCH ON and HOLD ON.
c)track6 with a drum voice. ARP settings of this voice are SWITCH OFF and HOLD OFF.

2.I proof that both tracks don´t arp in anyway (´cause I have the ARP ON button in OFF)
When I record, it just record the notes that I play.....
NO arp is trigged.

3. THEN I turn the ARP ON button to ON.
a) track7 triggers the ARP3 (I can even record those arp notes if I want)
b) track6 doesn´t trigger any ARP (ARP SWITCH setting of the voice is off).

4.) I start a new record. NO notes on tracks now.
I press the record button twice.....so I am looping but not recording.
Just playing!!
THEN_ I select track7 and press a key.....the ARP3 triggers!!

Please let me know if you understand this to continue.
I promise you the PARANORMAL part is yet to come.

You do know, that the Arpeggio as a function, does not need to use the Sequencer to function? That is not a requirement for Arpeggiators to work. It does not start simply because you start the Sequencer, conversely, it does not necessarily have to stop when you stop the Sequencer.

The Arpeggiators require 1) the Part Arp Switch to be On, 2) the Main Arp Switch to be On, and 3) you must trigger a note-on event within the designated Note and Velocity Limits defined by the Arp setup.

Seems you are unaware of how the Arpeggios function. No worries you are discovering this now.
Now as to how the Sequencer works...

You normally record to the Sequencer one track at a time. Sequence actually means one after the other. What occurs when you don’t respect these facts may seem strange, but it is only because you don’t know what to expect. In other words, if you did all of this in deep space, you would be weightless.... what does being weightless have to do with this issue... nothing, but it’s also a curiosity (just like whatever you are experiencing)...

The Arpeggiators can continue with or without the Sequencer running. The Sequencer running is NOT a requirement for Arps to function.

When you setup to (properly) record a Part that is using the Arpeggiators, it will start only when the conditions I outlined are met (which includes a NOTE-ON event) and it will STOP when you Stop Recording (because the Clock is stopped when recording stops).

Any Arpeggiators that are running that are not being recorded, and will behave just as if the Sequencer was not there... in other words once started, they just do their thing until you manually give a command to stop them. By being in record standby, the clock is running, if you meet the requirements to start an Arp (Main Switch On, Part Switch On, Note-On event at the appropriate Note/Velocity Range) it will run... just as if the Sequencer were not there...

No ghosts in the machine, just a gap in the knowledge base. Hope that helps.

Sorry Bad Mister...but all you have explained. I know in deep.
ARP and SEQ ....has nothing to do...I know it perfectly.
So...I will try to explained in ONE SENTENCE It seems that the more I write the less it is understood.

When I trigger an ARP in pattern looping mode in TRACK7 (main Switch On, Part Switch On, Note-On ) with the record button bliking (RECORD STAND BY) and change to TRACK6 (ain Switch On, Part Switch OOOOFFFFF, Note-OOOOFFFFF) while ARP triggered of TRACk7 is still running....and press RECORD....when the loops comes to end......AN ARP IN TRACK6 HAS BEEN RECORDED.
All that without pressing a key with track6 selected. THATS THE GHOST ARP. AN ARP THAT HAS BEEN RECORDED ON A TRACK WITH ARP PART SWITCH OFF THAT YOU ONLY START TO HEAR AFTER THE LOOP COMES TO END.
I can reproduce that in a video if you like!!!

And why I want to play with arps that way?? Because I am a live looping performer. I wanted to use the arps of the tracks to add some "voices" to my performance...especially in long performance because I can´t erase in a click a hole track without stopping the loop. Just can erase note by note and still have to mae a hole loop.

Tell me if u need the video!!

And my arp still runs when I stop the sequencer.....´cause I have an external clock running as master of the MOXF coming form my rc-202 whos able to "hide" the metronome in my headphones. MOXF can´t.

Much of what you write makes absolutely no sense to me. What is the significance of telling me about Track 7 being in Record Standby, if you actually are using Track 6 ... it’s that kind of stream of consciousness I don’t follow. It must be significant or why write about it. You cannot possibly be reading back what you write.

What?
Sorry, I just don’t get it. So what’s actually the problem from your perspective?
