Hi all!
I can make my gear work together...but not well. How do I connect all these things to my computer in the most optimal way?:
1. Eleven Rack (I'm using this as my audio card)
2. POD HD500X (I use this when I play at church)
3. MOXF8 (I use this both at home and away)
4. Win7 computer
5. Pro Tools 11 for recording.
Mostly, I want to be able to play the sounds on my MOXF8 through my computer speakers (without PT11 on) and still being able to plug a guitar into my 11R and hear it as well. Right now, I have a switch that puts either the 11R or MOXF8 through the main speakers, but I don't want the manual switch...
Does this make sense?
Thanks all!
Well, that should be rather simple... I see that your Eleven Rack got Line inputs on the back, simply connect the MOXF Line outputs to 11R Line inputs using TS cables (MOXF is using TS, not TRS). I think you should set the 11R Line input sensitivity (the push button between the jack line inputs) to -10 dBV, In that setup you will need to have your 11R turned on when you want to hear the MOXF in your speakers.
Technically, you can connect the output from your 11R to the MOXF A/D input and then connect your speakers to the MOXF... but If your speakers have balanced inputs I would recommend to stick to the suggested setup above.
