Just a quick question. Does the driver implement ASIO 1.0 or ASIO 2.0?

The MOXF uses a specific Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver. Currently in version 1.9.6 for Windows, and version 1.9.6 for Macintosh. This driver allows both MIDI and audio communication between the MOXF and your computer.

For details on the ASIO specification, please visit Steinberg.net
ASIO is an audio protocol invented by Steinberg and is one of many standard audio streaming protocols found across the industry. It was the first to innovate communication of devices.

The specific driver that the MOXF requires is both a MIDI and Audio driver!
It can be found at: download.yamaha.com

Thank you Bad Mister. I asked this because I experienced delay while playing with a piano smple in sforzando(it plays sfz files) and it's a cool software which helps me to learn more about sound synthesis concepts 😀 Somewhere I read that it can be because of the sound interface driver. I don't think my laptop has a slow cpu or not enough ram (8GB should be adequate?) also I never had any issues with my keyboard in othe software.
