Making MOXF MPE Compatible?

I'm wondering if there might be a firmware update in the future that brings MPE capabilities to the MOXF, or possibly an app that does the routing and number crunching to make it compatible. Because it's multi-timbral with 16 channels of separate data, it's possible through existing iOS apps to make it MPE possible. It would be wonderful if Yamaha would release an update that would make it fully MIDI 2.0 and MPE compliant.

Has anyone else tried using the MOXF in this capacity, with a ROLI controller or a LINNstrument? I am going to start working on this, but if anyone else has already gone down this path I'd love to hear your experiences.

I have both a Montage & a Roli Seaboard. Since getting the Roli Seaboard I rarely play my Montage... playing Seaboard is so much more fun!!! I've tried connecting my Seaboard to the Montage using multiple voices all set to the same patch ... it works but is impractical to program and not worth the trouble. I'm guessing its the same story with MOXF. I would love it if Yamaha would update the firmware to be more compatible with MPE. If something comes on the market that is similar to Montage feature-wise, but is compatible with MPE, then I'll be selling my Montage to get it. I think as more and more people try MPE compatible instruments, the demand for MPE-compatible HW synths and workstations will grow significantly. Hopefully Yamaha will be there to support this demand ... or I think they will lose a significant number of loyal customers, including me.
