Can I load a 512 flash board with x3a files from a Motif XF to a MOXF?

If 512MB is enough memory, yes.

Will the X3a files work on the MOXF and will the MOXF recognize the flash board that was previously in the XF or will I have to reformat the flash board and load the files again?

Yes, as I said, the file will work.
You will need to format the board for MOXF, and yes, you will need to format the Flash Znoard for the product you are going to use it in, and yes you will need to load the data to the MOXF.
Please recognize the Motif XF has four User Banks, while the MOXF has but three User Banks.
And the Motif XF can have two Flash Boards.
