Hi,

I am slowly learning use my new MOXF8. I'm a "live" player, and have learned how to set up sets of sounds using the MIXING function, which works very well for quickly switching between sounds with their corresponding effects, etc. This is working great when playing live with a full band. However, I have two other needs which are critical to how I need to use my instrument in the field.

1.) I need to have one bass sound playable for my left hand while switching between various single sounds playable with my R.H., (piano, guitar, brass, etc) without disturbing the bass sound, and also to bring in different layers (flute + acoustic guitar, piano + strings, and etc). The bass sound needs to remain the same and be consistently playable in my left hand while choosing between R.H sounds. It seems like I can accomplish this in MIXING mode, but despite my reading and study, I don't understand how to do it. I also need to save these various configurations in sets as I do for my single sounds, which as I said works fine. If this is possible can someone please tell me the step-by-step method for setting this up?

2.) I also have a seperate question regarding the programming of splits using PERFORMANCE CREATOR. When setting up a bass voice for LH and piano and RH split for example, with a split-point of say - C3, how can I transpose the bass one-octave down (12 half steps) so I have more of the full range of the bass before arriving to the C3 split-point? Can I do that in the PC mode, or do I need to edit and save the VOICE bass sound as a new separate VOICE transposed down one octave to do it? (I will actually need to be able to this in question no.1, above, as well).

These two features in the above questions are absolutely essential for my needs.

So far, I'm loving the all sounds, playability, and lightweight portability of my new MOXF8!

Thanks,

Randy

Update: I have discovered how to do several of the things I asked, and a few others things are not possible. I can make it work well enough for my needs.
