Hello,
I'm running Logic on a MacBook Air (specs below) with my MOXF6 as a controller, external synth, and audio interface. It was fine for about a week. But today when I restarted Logic, the MOXF didn't show up as a MIDI device or audio interface. The MOXF6 doesn't show up as an option in system preferences audio either. I restarted the computer and the application and it wasn't there.
I dragged the com.apple.audio.DeviceSettings and com.apple.audio.SystemSettings files to the trash so the system rebuilt them. And then I restarted the computer and the application and the MOXF showed up. No problem. However, I finished my session, quit Logic, and when I went back to my compute, again the MOXF disappeared from the Logic Pro X device menus.
I read somewhere that I might repair permissions but I ran Disk First Aid and it didn't find any issues.
Has anyone had similar problems?

We moved your post to the MOXF forum as your unlikely to find others with your issue in the reface forum!
Also your issue is not really a MOXF issue - but sounds like more of a Logic Pro / computer issue.
Here is your MOXF checklist: (if you are using the MOXF via USB for MIDI and Audio)
Make sure the MOXF is connected to the computer via USB
Make sure the MOXF is set for MIDI I/O = USB
Make sure the Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver version 1.9.10 for Mac is installed
Power on the Synth before launching your DAW software
I'm not a Logic Pro user, but remembering your setup is strictly child's play for a DAW like Logic Pro (consult the Logic Pro documentation).
All of this checks out. I also went through multiple troubleshooting steps with Logic including reinstalling the application. If you have any further suggestions, I'd be happy to try.
