I have created pattern chain: Pattern 22: G, A, B, C, E, F, for a total of 28 measures. Stored/saved and plays back. However, when I go to edit scene and tempo there is nothing there to edit. Data show in pattern mode edit. I converted chain to song, however, only the notes were saved to song all on concert piano. no other instrument info was saved from chain only the notes. where to go from here?

When you create a PATTERN CHAIN, you are creating not only the playback order of the Pattern Sections, you are also documenting Tempo Track, and Scene/Track Mute changes. From Pattern Chain press [EDIT] > F4 TrSel (Track Select) will toggle you through the three types of tracks.

The Pattern Mix is normally copied to the target SONG. If it is not automatically copied it is because you have instructed your MOXF not to “Load Mix”... in such a case the existing Mix in the target SONG will remain in place. The only other thing would be if you inserted a GM RESET command in the Pattern data... this would also cause all the sounds to reset.

Make sure you have the “Load Mix” parameter set to On, before converting your Pattern Chain to Song. UTILITY > F2 SEQ > SF3 OTHER
