I have a Yamaha MoxF8 and Ableton Live 10.
I want to record audio from this sythesizer into Ableton but untill now this has been unsuccessfull.
I have tried this: https://www.yamahasynth.com/moxf-category/moxf6-moxf8-basic-audio-recording
but at the end I get USR1 instead of USR2.

If I have done these settings, what buttons do I have to press to record to Ableton?
DAW? REC? A/D inpuit, some others???
Please help.

At this moment, I have changed the input channel from 1 to 3 and it works! 🙂

The only problem left is that the audio is not loud enough recorded and played.
Anyone an idea?

“Loud” is a function your analog playback system... perhaps you mean your record levels are low... you can adjust the record level by increasing the individual Part volumes.

Please see the following article which goes into the MOXF architecture explaining where you can increase the audio record levels:

This is indeed the stuff I needed.
