I'm using my MoXF for live playing. I play multiple parts, split across the keyboard and often transposed. I'm setting up each song as a pattern/song mix, then pointing to those mixes via the master mode. I typically keep master mode zone control off, unless I need to transpose a part more than 2 octaves (which is the mix limitation - and Bad Misters suggested workaround). My mixes contain preset volumes for each part - and on one or more parts I typically use the foot pedal to change the volume as I play.
This works great for me for transposing but when master mode is zone control is on, the zone volume overrides all the mix volumes I have set up. I might have 3 mix parts assigned to channel 1 at different volumes, but then master mode overrides those. I can disable the reception of volume for those parts in the mix - then the master mode transmitted volume doesn't override the mix part volume, but then I can no longer control those parts volumes with the foot pedal.
Is there any way to get around this issue - it would be nice if you could turn the volume transmission off in the Master when in zone control, but I can't see how to do it. Thanks for any help!
