I am new to the mox series, and not very savvy with DAW's in general. I am unable to select 2stereo record on mofx8 as instructed in the manual. It defaults to
1stereo rec and will not change. I am trying to record the mofx audio to cubase AI.

Windows 7
Yamaha moxf8
steinburg usb driver
mofx remote tools

The audio signals of the MOXF6/MOXF8 can be output to the USB [TO HOST] terminal and the OUTPUT [L/MONO]/[R] jacks. When connecting to a computer, use the USB [TO HOST] terminal. In this case, up to four audio channels (USB 1 – USB 4) are available. The output-to-channel assignments are made in the [F5] USB I/O display of the Utility mode.

Press [UTILITY]
Press [F5] USB I/O
Press [SF1] OUT CH
Set this to 4CH

You must enable 4CH (four channel) mode. Once you change the setting, press [STORE] and reboot the MOXF. This will place it in 4 Channel mode and allow you use "2Stereo Rec" (dual stereo record) mode... from this point forward.
