I just downloaded and installed the Best of the Motif Volume 2 to my MX88. However, the Grand Piano performance #1 indicates that it uses
a user voice that doesn't seem to have been loaded. The performance sounds like it is just an initialized performance.
Anyone else having the same problem?

According to the list that accompanies BOM2MX88.X5A the first Performance is ”FulCrtGrnd”
To recall this Performance press [SELECT] so that it is lit
When you unlight the [SELECT] button it will reveal that it used U01 (or USER 01 as the Voice it is referencing).
The letter “U” denotes one of 128 possible User Voices. They are inserted into the MX by Category.
When SELECT is Off you are in Category... the 16 buttons on the right front panel are your 16 Categories.
When Piano is lit (AP) you can press that button repeatedly to advance through the list of Pianos. The User Pianos would be added to the end of the list
When you press [Keyboards] You can advance through Electric pianos, Clavi, etc., new Keybds would be added to the end of the list... and so on
