Is it possible to reduce the amount of vibrato on one of the flutes? Thanks
Not if the flute is using a natural vibrato Waveform. Many of the Solo orchestral instruments were sampled with the natural vibrato of the musician. The piccolo Waveform is included sans vibrato, you may want to build the sound starting with the Piccolo Waveform.
I see.can you suggest how to add just a touch of vibrato to the picolo?
Call up the Piccolo Sound
Press [EDIT]
Using the UP/DOWN CURSOR select "02:Part" > "Enter"
Using the UP/DOWN CURSOR select "07:Voice Ctrl Set" > "Enter"
Find "01: Set 1" > "Enter"
Using UP/DOWN CURSOR set the SET 1 as follows:
Source = MW(01) - modulation wheel
Destination = ELFO-PM - the Element Low Frequency Oscillator - Pitch Modulation
Depth = +X - set for the "touch of vibrato" you desire when moving the Modulation Wheel, use a positive value to increase Vibrato as you move the Wheel up.
Thanks, i did it. I renamed the voice and stored it in 'U004'.can you tell me how to retrieve it?
CATEGORY SEARCH. When you edit and then [STORE] a Voice, it is added to the Category of the sound you edited. Piccolo is in the Sax/Woodwind Category and will be added to end of the list in that Category.
Did you know? When you turn Off the [SELECT] light the first two characters in the screen indicate the Category of the current selected sound; written above the right front panel buttons are the different Categories... Pianos, Keyboards, Organs, etc.,
Press [SAX/WOODWIND] to view the first in this Category
If you press the button repeatedly you will advance through the Category one instrument at a time
You can advance to the next SubCategory by holding [SHIFT] while pressing the [SAX/WOODWIND] button.
Your edited sound is in the “U” User Bank which is added to the end of the Category List.
You can get there by turning the Data Dial all the way to the end of the list...
Got it ! Thanks a lot!
