Hello.
I am trying to get MX performances to change, using a KORG KRONOS
as the sequencer.
An example would be, song 1 in KRONOS sequencer has its own MX performance bieng triggered.
When i switch KRONOS song 1 to KRONOS song 2, or any song within KRONOS sequencer, i
want an individual MX performance to be tied to each KRONOS song/sequence.
I am going to ask this question on KORG forum too.
Many thanks for any info on this.

You need to send a Bank Select and Program Change message from your Sequencer to the MX on the Basic Receive channel.

The info you need on the MX side of thins is this:

Bank Select MSB = 63
Bank Select LSB = 80
Program Change = a number 0-127 to correspond with Performances 1-128

It's good you have a message in to Korg, each manufacturer implements these commands a little differently.
Bank Select MSB is also known as Control Change 0 (cc0)
Bank Select LSB is also known as Control Change 32 (cc32)

Again, many thanks Bad Mister.
With your help, and the KORG forum, i got it down now.
Both synths are totaly synced.
It is super cool to be able to use MX49 like it was part of KRONOS.
On the MX end it was easy as could be from your info.
Finding it in KRONOS was not as easy.
but, I B GROOVIN now!

😀 😀 😀 🙂
