I am trying to use my MX61 as a controller for Mainstage 3. I've got the audio working through usb (MX as audio interface) but the volume knob on the MX controls both the MX and MS. Is there any way to have the volumes controlled separately? Or do I need to get something like the Korg Nanokontrols?

The Volume Slider is the master volume control. If you need to reduce the MX's contribution to the main volume, each Part has an individual volume output control... Just as anything you are controlling has its own volume control, the MX as your audio interface is a sum of all those individual inputs. Make sense?
