A recent discussion on the topic “Can I change the rhythm pattern in an MX like in a drum machine?” we were very interested in the discussion regarding finding ways to edit MX49 drum kits. The disadvantages of editing MX are known, and especially the mini display.

It’s a little strange for us that in the question and discussion there was no mention of John Melas’s very interesting Mo Tools MX utility. We acquired a license for this program, started working, and encountered some difficulties. Editing is successful, but listening is blocked from a passing game of edited notes. We would be very pleased to exchange views with interested musicians and count on the kind support of the Leading Specialist Sir Bad Nister. Earlier, we successfully and without any remark used John Melas utilities with the MOX series synths.
