Hi, how are you, since I updated the operating system of my yamaha mx 61, I have problems to recognize the usb flash memory. I already formatted it and loaded the same wav files I used previously, when I try to play these files the illegal format legend comes out.
I hope you can help me. regards
Javier
You have us with that one, Javier. This is unusual.
We'll need a bit more information on the nature of the .wav file. (But if it played previously, and no longer plays, this is unusual).
We'll need the version of MX61. Very recent or one you've owned for a while?
While files do go bad or become corrupt, this is rare. So we'll need to get as much info as possible, thanks.
We know you don't mean "Load" as the MX can't Load a .wav; it can stream (read in real time) a mid, or .wav file via the [EXT. SONG] button. That's what we're talking about, right?
Hello, I could solve the problem, I had changed the configuration of my daw to 24 bits, and I was exporting the files with that format, when I pass them to 16 bits the yamaha I started to reproduce them.
thank you very much.
Ok, good, I'm glad you figured that one out. Had me stumped. (16-bit/44.1kHz stereo .wav)
