No matter what I try to edit in my user profile (upload an avatar picture for example), on save it does nothing and shows the error message "Full Name empty".
It looks like some fields hidden but then the forum software complains they're not filled.

Consider yourself lucky if any part of this site works for you.
It goes through signifiant periods where most users can't login a second time, and never return.

I have same problems as stated above. My login attempts fail, but I'm still logged in. The site shows "sign in" button on top even as of now...

There are two Log Ins… one to Yamaha.com (the parent company), the other to YamahaSynth.com (the Synthesizer Department within the parent company).
You can stay logged into to YamahaSynth.com once you are registered here.
Then you only need to Sign In or Sign Out of the corporate log in, each time you visit.
It says “Sign In” because it hasn’t updated itself yet. Try refreshing the browser to see if it updates to “MyAccount” and “Sign Out”.
