We just got this reply from Yamaha Support from our email notifying them about the forum issues and asking if Blake was ok since he typically takes care of forum issues but there has been no word from him in a couple of weeks.

We realize the forum has issues and we have a new team that is working to find a solution.

Personnel issues are always sensitive so it isn't too surprising that they side-stepped our direct query about Blake. So it isn't clear just what 'new team' means. For that we'll just have to wait to see if he pops up on the forum on in the next tech talk. We wish him well wherever he is!
