All,
I just picked up a CP and YC. I intended on only getting a CP but the YC sounded so good it ended up coming home with me as well.. So, far really impressed with these!

The question.

I am using an M-audio controller. So far it seems like I am not able to dasiy chain the two units together? Midi out of controller into midi in of CP Midi out of CP to midi in if YC. Is this a limitation or possibly a bad cable issue?

And the suggestion.. on the YC.
I'd really like to see an option to make the YC behave more like the orig units.

Specifically, I'd love to see an edit that made the Continental well, more Continental. Possibly an option reconfigure the draw bars to be the 4 + 2 configuration?

I am just not hearing a huge difference between the Continental and the YC. I have been really looking for THAT Vox sound. I think having the IV draw bar would dial that in quite a bit and also make it sonically much more different from the YC sound.

To me..The Hammond sounds decent. The Vox sounds decent, the Farfisa sounds really good. I don't have enough experience with a YC to make a judgement. But I think having draw bars that varied more from different wave through the same drawbar filters could really help.

Or, am I just really missing something and doing it wrong here.

Please help!!!

That’s not how MIDI works. You either need a MIDI THRU (not available on reface) or you need multiple MIDI OUT jacks on your controller (probably not available on your controller). The standard solution is to get a MIDI Splitter or junction box... one that can take a MIDI IN from your controller and give multiple jacks to connect Out.

Some times the solution is more gear.
