I have several synth at the moment, but THE 80s synth is still missing.... a DX-7 II FD. I listened to numerous video's letting me hear all factory patches of the Mk1 model, but I wonder: does the MK2 model incorporate AT LEAST all factory patches from the MK1? I just cannot find that info for 100% sure. I really love all those "bell" type sounds, but "bass 1" is also GORGEOUS! I would like to have such patches in my MK2 model too.
This guy is my inspiration in many things. He got me into buying a Juno-60 and a TR-808, to name just a few. Here, he shows all factory patches of the MK1 DX7:

In the mean time I found out that ROM cartridges definitely differ in size between the MK1 and MK2 model, and that MK1 cartridges can be used in the MK2 model with an adapter. So, if those patches of the MK1 model are NOT present in the MK2, can I use the cartridge of an MK1 and store those patches in some kind of user part of the memory, or, alternatively, on a RAM cartridge?
