hello
recently purchased a used ex5 and swapped a bad key out. upon reassembly certain keys do not work in all octaves - c c# d d# e f f#. occasionally f will work. I was very careful taking apart and reassembling and have checked that all sensors touch with key contact. what could possibly be wrong? prior to repair all keys were fully functioning.

Your best bet would be to call Yamaha and see if you can talk with a service person who has experience working with an EX5.
