I am having some trouble getting my AN1x to receive sounds via a Hosa USB Midi cable on my Mac. It seems like it's transmitting & then after a few minutes the screen just goes blank on the AN1x & nothing happens. I have tried changing parameters & slowing down the transmission speed but no success.
Sorry you are having issues, and we wish we could help you, but you give us no real information about what you're doing. We are sure you've tested your MIDI cable - it's probably fine.
As far as we know a Mac computer does not speak the same language as the AN1x... You probably need some (unnamed) piece of software that is supposed to address the AN1x. Please tell us what that is, it might be helpful in getting you an answer.
Unless you mean you are playing audio from the Mac and you think that travels through the MIDI cable... 🙂 It doesn't.
What type of file are you attempting to use to transfer "sounds"(?) to the AN1x?

I am trying to upload a sound bank from the talented JayB to my AN1x using SysEx Librarian. As far as we know a Mac computer does not speak the same language as the AN1x...
