Hi Blake, I love my Montage M7. My main problem with it Is that I tour with musicals. Many of our patches are on MainStage. Currently to control these, I’m having to use a Korg nano because my Yamaha doesn’t send out CC information from the sliders and knobs. I hope that this is addressed in 2.0. It seems that this is a normal function of most keyboards. Thanks , Jamie

Since I don't have experience with an M - I'm going to answer as the Montage Classic works and suggest that some of this is likely similar.

Are you using single channel MIDI mode?  The Montage Classic sliders won't output CC in this case.

Also, to the left of the sliders, if the "PART VOLUME" LED is illuminated then the sliders, if similar to Classic, should output CC(7).   If instead the "EL/OP/OSC LEVEL" LED is illuminated then the sliders should output SysEx.

When using DAW Remote, you can assign arbitrary CC numbers to each slider.  This is certainly true of Montage M although you may have the same reasons as I do for not using DAW remote mode live (everything is a live set and therefore a Performance outside of the scope of DAW remote).

Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R
