No Vibrato on the Vox organ?

I got my YC61 today, and I'm loving it so far! However, it doesn't seem like the Chorus/Vibrato is applicable to the FM organs, only the B3 emulations. That would be a huge oversight, as that's an integral part of the Vox sound. Has anyone else discovered a way to do this? Hopefully it will be addressed in the future if it's not possible at the moment.

Hello,

That is correct: The vibrato and chorus are modeled after the vintage tone wheel circuit, not the transistor. You certainly make a fair point, though. You can get in the ball park using the EFFECT over on the right adjacent to the SPEAKER/AMP block and approximate it with the chorus or tremolo effect.

I found that vibrato was assigned to the modulation lever on the church F1 organ which was a nice touch. Not sure how to assign that but sounds good.

Go into controls and you'll find it's set to modulation. Not sure what sets modulation to vibrato but you can set the depth and speed accordingly.

Thanks! That was definitely useful when using only one sound, but it seems to affect both sounds globally when using a split, so something like a Doors tune with piano in the bass and a Vox up top wouldn't be possible. It would work if I could turn off the mod lever receive switch for the Keys A/B, but that doesn't seem to be an option at the moment. Thanks again!

I think I solved your problem. Go into "Mod Depth" under controllers and modulation and turn off the parts "A" and "B" by setting them to "0".
