I recently started using my YC-61 as Midi Controller - which seems to be working out very well, except, I cannot seem to complete the process for getting my YC-61 to control my DAW (Logic Pro X) - so tired of having to stop playing and use my keyboard/mouse to make changes and tweak parameters on AU (Component) Plug-ins. In Logic Pro X, all of my installed plug-ins by Apple, Arturia, Korg, Roland Zenology, etc. are working fine.
Sadly, the YC-61 User Manual has very little describing interfacing and controller DAW (Logic Pro X).
A YouTube video on Yamaha Synths: Blake Angelos talk about connecting YC-61 via MIDI to other keyboards (MODX/Montage), and Dom Sigalas talks about integrating with Cubase, but nothing about Logic Pro X.
Can anyone point me to a comprehensive resource or step by step tutorial re: configuring YC-61 for DAW integration for Logic Pro X so that the knobs and sliders are useful, and I don't have to use my keyboard/mouse for every tweak?
Hi
Check out this article!

"You cannot change the CC# for the YC61 controls, but most if not all DAW support “learn” modes so you can assign specific controls to controllers."
You can use MIDI learn. Also CC numbers for controllers are listed on pages 60-61 of the owner's manual if you want to manually setup your DAW.
The table documents what the panel controls are and references callout numbers detailed on pages 10-21 (black circles with white text).
