Hi. I had previously used a Motif in sequence mode as a master keyboard along with Mainstage. Since each track button was also a midi channel I could set up several virtual keyboards in MS, each on its own midi channel and sounds, save it as a patch, then each patch/song would have multiple sounds that I could access with the Motif sequencer buttons. I tried to achieve the same idea with YC's Master Mode. I set up four virtual keyboards in MS then created four patches on the YC using Master Mode for each patch and with each patch transmitting on an individual zone (the whole keyboard) with its own channel. Patch 1/TX channel 1/ Zone 1; Patch 2/TX channel 2; and the same setup for patches 3 and 4, then saved individually. The oddball thing is that the patches with channels 1&2 work as you would expect with patch 1 playing channel 1 sounds and patch 2 playing channel 2 sounds. But then, for reasons I can't figure out, patches 3&4, each on their own zone and channel play their own sound along with the channel 1 sound. This only happens with channels 3&4 but not with channel 2. Each is set up exactly the same. Each was initialized before setup. If I play the virtual keyboards in MS they will only play thier own channel but when I play the YC it triggers channel 1 but only when I play Patch/Zone/Channel 3 and Patch/Zone/Channel 4 using Master Mode. I think I've eliminated MS as the problem since this issue doesn't occur with the Motif I use at church or my Yamaha MX so now I'm down to settings in Master Mode. This would be easier to get my head around if it was happening in every channel but the fact that it works normally in channel two but not three or four is baffling

Any ideas? Thanks.

Eric
