Hello

is there any way to record into my DAW (Cubase 8.5) when I'm playing and when I change of scene ?

Regards

Yes. Have you removed the System Exclusive (default) FILTER

Go to Preferences > MIDI > MIDI FILTER > uncheck System Exclusive from being Recorded and Thru'd
Click APPLY
Click OK

Thanks for your quick answer.

I'm surprised because my config is like that ( sysex unchecked) since I've received my new Montage 8 , and I don't see any event in my cubase when I press any button of scene.

Have you tried this seeing any movement ?

Hi,
Of course it work, record scene change, go on list view for the midi container, filter notes, aftertouch ... and let sysex, you will see them here :

sysex record on cubase for scene from 1 to 8 in midi list view :

The inspector midi bar event don't show them but they are record 😉
