Pipe Organs on the YC

A wishlist item for the YC - pipe organs! It's completely missing from the YC sound palette.

Obviously, a pipe organ engine with drawbar control (like on the Nord Stage) would be amazing -- but even just having a small number of sampled pipe organs in the Keys section would be enough. Currently there are none.

If you had a generic sound for diapason, flute, string, and reed, then the player could put two together as Keys A and Keys B. That alone would give you 10 basic organ stop combinations, which would be more than enough for a stage keyboard. And of course, a massive 'Full Organ' sound would be great too. The MODX has a whole bunch of pipe sounds; seems reasonable that a few could be borrowed and brought across to the YC.

I've heard suggestions of using the YC's F1 engine and adding lots of reverb, but you don't really get a pipe sound doing this. Even my lowly Roland V-Combo has three pipe organs, simply called Pipe Organ 1, 2 & 3, which is enough to get by.

@Bill - I'm referring to the YC61/73/88. These models all have drawbars, and organ sounds. The organs generally focus on tonewheel and transistor organs, which makes sense because they are ubiquitous across so many genres of music. I'm just highlighting that pipe organs specifically are a gap.

A scene in music theatre is an example of a time when you might reach for a pipe organ sound. Or even, playing at a wedding. Sure, it's easy enough to use Mainstage or similar, but then you need a laptop and the whole setup starts becoming more complex.

Kind of ironic that Yamaha creates an ogan focused stage board that can't handle a simple pipe organ duty. Sometimes Yamaha is just plain old dumb acting or like they have no common sense one. No real way to sugar coat it. Let me remind us all that it's likely no other music manufacturer in the universe is as large, heavily stock piled, infinitely resourced comparitively speaking and capable of just using what they already have on hand. Then you scratch your head and wonder what the heck in times like these. They never cease to dumbfound me on some obvious no brainer things like this. Even if they put it off an update should have added it. I disagree that the keys "A" and "B" should be forced to handle it but agree that it would be better than nothing. The actual organ section should have Pipes 1,2,& 3 already. It's silly. I think my SKpro has pipes obviously. Now they might contend that pipes aren't used that much but then do we really need 10 different pianos because most of them from a distance all sound like a piano. Dudes in the audience with their girls screaming out "oh my gosh that's a Nashville studio grand!...it's to die for" and then they all pass out. Not going to happen.
