PROBLEM IN THE SCENE MODE

Hello!

I have just started working with a new Performance and something happens to me that I do not understand:

In part 1 there is a synth, in part 2 a hamond, and the problem comes in part 3 and 4. Both are an octave piano. I have balanced both sounds to the left and the volume of both I have set to my liking. When you enter the scene tab, or if you simply change the scene, the piano sounds (parts 3 and 4) return the balance to the center and the volume is set to 100. As far as I know, I have not done anything to make this happen.

Any suggestions to solve it please?

Thanks in advance!

You have not done anything to prevent it from happening!

Here’s what we mean, we cannot tell you exactly what the issue is, but we can tell you that if Scenes are involved, it is most likely the cause of your mystery. We usually start the discussion with the fact that MIDI commands persist. It’s like a Newtonian Law of Physics... a parameter will remain unchanged until a force acts to move it.

Because a Scene can memorize certain parameters (they are grouped Arp and Motion Seq; Super Knob; MIXING, AEG, Play Fx for Arps and Motion Seq)), if the group has its Memory Switch active (On), a Scene will cause that group of parameters to change. If the next Scene does not have the group’s Memory Switch active, then the last setting persist. Just because you press a Scene button it does not mean all groups are automatically activated.

So moving from Scene 1 to Scene 2 could give different results from moving from Scene 3 to Scene 2.
Example...
In Scene 1 I store the drum Arps with a Velocity Offset of 103%
In Scene 2 the group that stores Velocity is Off
In Sene 3 the group that memorizes Velocity is On and drums are reduced to 80%

Scene 2, can have drums that play with a 103% Offset when preceded by Sene 1, or can inherit a Velocity Offset of 80% if preceded by Scene 3.

All that to point out, it takes working with the SCENE Memory screen to really decipher what is going on.
From the Home screen, touch “Scene”
Here you can review which Memory Groups are active in each Scene 1-8
Any changes made on this screen are automatically stored into the currently active Scene (along the top of the screen)

Hint: Remember you cannot tell which Memory switches are ON until you select the Scene.

Hello, Bad Mister!

Thanks for answering!

Your answer is obvious, what happens is that in the scenes tab (in any of the 3 scenes that I have activated) I have absolutely nothing activated except the mixing 2 tab, that is, to activate and deactivate the MUTE button that is the The only operation I have done in this regard. The problem occurs in parts 3, 4 and 5. In contrast, in parts 1 and 2, I do not have that problem.

Thank you!

I found the problem !!!!

A thousand pardons !!!!

I did not know that activating MIXING 2 activated MIXING 1 !!!

I feel my clumsiness and above all ignorance!

Solved! Thank you!
