Program Change Events with Insertion Effect

I'm using Program Change events on a single track to move from Voice to Voice in real time. After each assignment I also put in a CC Volume and Expression and that seems to work -- switching along with the Voice as intended. But I'm now realizing that the Insertion Effect will need to ALSO be separately programmed. That is, when I go from a Voice where I want it "clean", the next Voice needs (I presume) to be assigned an Insertion Effect as a separate CC -- but I don't know how that works exactly. Is that where the CC# Effect 1 and Effect 2 come into play?

I'm thinking that perhaps one method would be to make each Voice change a Scene, but maybe it's just a matter of using the correct CC Effect event which, as I said, is working fine for Volume and such.

You're using a MOXF (I have a Motif XF - which is related) and you want to change a voice with PC and then do something to the insertion effects of that new Voice? What does that mean? Insertion Effects assigned to a CC# doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Can you elaborate on what you're trying to do with the Insertion Effect portion of your question?

FYI - you should be able to edit the voice's insertion effect and save as a user voice then PC recall this user voice with the adjusted insertion effects instead of trying to "build" what you want after-the-fact (after the PC).

I think your FYI is the most sensible solution. It's more time consuming to create those User Voices, but if the Insertion Effect will become part of the User Voice seamlessly then that's where the answer lies. Thanks.
