From the moment that he heard “Switched-On Bach”, Tony Escueta was inspired to explore the world of synthesizers. Since buying his first synth at age 17, Tony has followed his lifelong passion for electronic music and music performance, eventually leading to his career at Yamaha Corporation of America. Recognized as one of the music industry’s leading experts in music technology, Tony has worked with numerous entertainers, recording artists, and music producers throughout the U.S., and is frequently sought out for his technical knowledge by touring artists. He has worked on a broad range of projects as composer, arranger, sound designer, and programmer.For over 30 years, he has conducted numerous clinics and master classes throughout the U.S. and has taught continuing education courses for electronic music & recording. In his role at Yamaha, Tony strives to inspire all musicians to unleash their creative and musical potential by utilizing today's technology.Tony holds a Bachelor of Music from the world-renowned Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. Tony resides in Dallas, TX with his family, playing and recording music in a multitude of settings, often performing with his wife, a professional violinist.
